About Valerie

Art has always been a part of my life as it is with the lives of all, but I would have to say I got my feet wet weeb-ing out by sketching manga characters in my teens. As I aged, I shifted to other forms of expression including earning my Bachelors in fashion design and later through performances via voice acting audiobooks. After moving from Nashville to Seattle I sought a new means of self expression that manifested in watercolor which continues to captivate my interest. I seek to bring a dream-like quality to my work via atmosphere and unexpected color selection.

I work in my home studio overlooking Puget Sound where I reside with my husband, children, and two cats.
