About Valerie
Art has always been part of my life, and like a lot of teens, I started out sketching anime characters. Over time, my creative journey took me in different directions—I even earned a degree in fashion design and spent some time voice acting for audiobooks! After moving from Nashville to Seattle, I found myself drawn to watercolor as a new way to express myself, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I love creating pieces that feel dreamy and atmospheric, using unexpected colors to bring my ideas to life.
These days, you’ll find me painting in my home studio with a view of Puget Sound, alongside my husband, kids, and two cats.

Painting for Charity
My favorite charity group to contribute to is Games Done Quick with their twice annual marathons: Awesome Games Done Quick in the winter and Summer Games Done Quick. The artwork I donate is used as a prize incentive to encourage donations.
These two events benefit Doctors Without Borders and The Prevent Cancer Foundation.
